Detailed traffic reports are essential for tracking progress of campaigns, search traffic, and the overall effectiveness of the marketing effort. Basically, we can keep track of what’s working, and what’s not.
We use special applications to pick apart all aspects of the daily traffic. We see how many visitors are coming each day, and where they are coming from. We can analyze what pages are being hit, what search engines and directories are sending traffic, and what keywords are being used by visitors. You could be spending hours gaining a top ranking on a keyword that rarely generates a sale. Other keywords that you thought were relatively unimportant may actually have a high conversion rate.
